What luck you have....two posts in a few days.....lol :)

This I had to post this for it gave me a 'laugh' at a time in my life when such would do some good. Not that I am dispondent or depressed, but it just helps just the same...ya know what I mean ?

Secret to a Long Marriage
With a couple celebrating their 50th anniversary at the church's marriage marathon,the minister asked a congregation member called Ralph to take a few minutes and share some insight into how he managed to live with the same woman all these years.
The husband replied to the audience, "Well, I treated her with respect, spent money on her, but mostly I took her traveling on special occasions."
With a smile on his face the minister inquired "Trips to where, Ralph?"
Well, quipt Ralph, "For our 25th anniversary, I took her to Beijing, China."
The minister then said, "What a terrific example you are to all husbands, Ralph. Please tell the audience what you're going to do for your wife on your 50th anniversary?"

Here we go again....

Howdy :)

Hey, last night I went to see a newly released movie at my local Cinema and I'll tell ya...
It was the fastest 2 hours and eight mins. that I have ever spent in a movie theater ! The plot was thrilling and exciting based upon an 'unproven' scientific theory. The special effects were suberb and gave creedence to this 'theory' so amazingly so. I really don't want to say too much about the flic in fear of giving away the thriller. A mesmerizing action and emotional one for sure with a few moments of well placed humor. Now, don't get me wrong! This isn't a 'scifi' overly 'futuristic and 'way out there' movie. Heck no! Infact, eventho the 'theory' is 'unproven', you'll forget about that and it really 'grabs' you into thinking, 'hey, that's plausible'. For those of you that end up seeing the movie and don't 'know' the 'theory' applied, don't fret. It's not all that important to enjoying it and getting submersed , but for those that understand the premise, Whoa....hang on for your mind will spin out of control.

Ok, you say, so what's the movie already!...lol :)
Hmmm....it stars one of my fav actors, Mr. Denzel Washington. Now any fan of his knows his acting and presence in any flix always leads to a 'convincing performance' and this is right up to 'par' for his caliber of acting. In fact, I can't really say that he was 'acting'! I can't honestly say that I would want another actor in his role. He is supurb and I dont' say that about too many in the entertainment field.
So what is the name of the flix huh ?? K....if you decide to drop about $8.00 or so at a theater, go for it and check out "De Ja Vu". You'll won't be sorry !

I wish I could 'poke fun' at this for the sake of good reading of the blog, but the movie is that good....lol ...it just wouldn't be fair to the actors nor the producer and creator Jerry Bruckheimer.
Ya, he's the one that is mostly responsible for the really hot and the newest TV shows on the boob tube.
Infact, he has a TV series fairly new called 'Day Break' that somewhat parallels this large screen movie epic. Well, from what I can gather from watching it on TV ( Day Break ) eventho they haven't explained how or why things are happening as they are, I have already formulated my own opinion(s) that will or could explain the show's baseline concept. Whether that holds up at the end of the 12 weeks of airing, is yet to be seen....lol :)

Ok, so there you have it. 'Two thumbs up". Grab your 'honey', or 'sweety' or your 'significant other' and get lost in something that is rare among movie making. That large bag of popcorn, I assure you, will not be depleted by the time the movie ends.

Now...What Have I Been Saying ..........

Hi ya'll.....

Time again for me to sputter a few things...lol....however this time you are in luck. For the most part it won't be 'heard' by me. Many know that one of my 'fav' people in this world is and has been for decades and decades, my 'buddy' Mr. George Carlin. For those of you that don't know of him, you won't probably 'accept', let alone 'agree' with his philosophies on living and life in general. For those of you that have heard of him....eventually he'll hit on a topic that even the most pesimistic/optimistic person has to agree with him despite his 'slant' of what he considers 'humor' however, most do it very 'quietly' to themselves....why, I'll never know. Well guys, 'verbalize'....or you'll just remain that 'sheep within the flock'......lol :)

SOooo, courtesy of 'Youtube' , I have again found 'Georgey Boy' to be hitting the 'nail on the head' with these couple of video clips. They are worth listening and watching to but beware if your 'ears' are 'fragile' to the 'common vulgarities' and 'slangerisms' ( new word ...huh ???? ) of today's 'verbal society'. Sex, lies and video tape

Hi there ..tis me again.....:)

Boy, do I have a headache listening to all these political campaigns. Every candidate slinging mud at their opponents, slurring a naturally standing polluted history from everyone seeking election or re-election. I can't recall a general election so terrible as this present one, at least locally to my state of Florida. No wonder our society is in such dire straits. The very people that claim they want to 'help' and 'change' are the very people that constantly 'violate' the public's trust.

Why do we accept such deviate practices and deceptions? Isn't there a better way. I can't believe in the days of our founding fathers that this was the practice back then. Just look at the values and character of those that we hold proud from our past political history that formed our country to what once was a pinnacle of 'truth,justice, and the American way".

So where did it all disappear too ? Did personal greed and quiet special interests pollute our system to the point where nothing is 'real and truthful'. Gosh, I can't even tell from the present campaigning who is anywhere near being 'truthful or 'plausable' to the cause they profess to support.

I say forget about the two or three party system. Clean house and find individuals in our everyday society that have nothing to gain, no agenda and no reason to be anything except working for the benefit of all. Let's give the government back to the everyday people and not to the professional politician that doesn't know a 'lie' when it 'bites them in the ole kiesta'.....:)

Now where is that little island in that some forgotten lagoon........
I'm just thankful its over come this week. I've had enough of this childish behavior and outlandish wasted money in a foolish concept of being 'elected' . They are all thugs, with suit coats !

Let's put the huge amount of monies that it takes for each of these idiots to advertise and put it into some general fund to assist in accomplishing something that isn't partisan and that will do some good to all within the general populous. Something like the insurance crises, so good people won't loose their homes because of the industry's need to increase profits. Geesh....how blind can the system be ! Or maybe I should really say the truth....they really just don't care about you or me and it's the survival of themselves that we really elect.

Oh...did I say I wouldn't post on political views...hmmmm....ok...so scrap all this and remember...your vote is only a vote to keep the corrupt system alive. Perhaps we all should abstain from voting instead of selecting the 'lesser of the two evils'. Maybe at that point our voice would be heard ! Even a 'no vote' is a more positive move than electing the same despite the name changes.
