Rumble..rumble ...tumble and shake....

Hi guys....

Ya know I love to step out into my backyard and pick right from the trees fresh oranges or watch the widlife as they forage for food or get sun tanned as I do outside jobs around the house since I don't usually wear a shirt when I am working around.
Well...what a surprise I had this am....lol :)
My orange trees are now 'peach' trees and the soil instead of being 'sandy beach' is now 'orange clay' and my southern 'tropical palm' trees are 'northern pine' and 'northern Elm'.
"What you say?"......
As if that isn't odd in itself I now have a 'companion' called 'Toto'.....lol. I just don't figure it.....

Am I having a bad dream...a nightmare of massive proportions or could it just be a severe case of indigestion from the taco berrito I had several months ago. ..lol.....Gosh....did the Pepcid not work ? I never seem to get those 'disclaimers' down pat....lol
Good gosh....Geesh....how do I adjust ??......or have I just lost it !!!

I just can't figure out how I have gotten a new postal zip without investing thousands of dollars for a mover. Heck...I didn't even 'lick' any stamps! How did Florida become what looks like Georgia? This really just has to be 'trick of the mind'..just like in the movie 'Matrix'.....right...that's it....I've gone mental !!!! lol....rofl :)
Hey...is Tom Cruise going to show up and become my best buddy now ?? lol....now that really would be a 'Mission Impossible'....or would it ???

You know what they say....'insanity is only for the sane'....so that must be it....I really must be 'sane'....chasing the insanity of an experience of which I am about to explain.

So here goes...and take two asprins for the headache I just gave you...lol....

Hey guess what? Florida isn't exactly known for having earthquakes but as usual, I seem to have Mother Nature do her thing just for my benefit.
Somewhere around 10:46 am this Sunday morning approximately 250 miles off the Tampa coastline in the Gulf of Mexico the 'big Kahoonah' cracked the surface of our normally peaceful and overly tranquil body of water with a magnitude of 6.0. Shockwaves were recorded and felt all the way up the southern eastern seaboard and inland states. Despite the size and location there were no reports of damage or injury.....
Lucky us...huh ? It's bad enough I live in a 'tornado' proned area of the state, the 'lightening' capital of the world, a very suseptable place for 'hurricanes' and now this, 'earthquakes'. .What comes next ?? Ravaging 'floods' and 'mudslides' or maybe a 'blizzard' !!! LOL....oh ya....now that really would be something !!
No matter how one looks at things.....Mother Nature has a way of doing what seems to be out of character for a given area and often causes lots of damage and hardships. We lucked out this time...maybe not so for the next ...hmmmm !

So till next time.....bolt down the hatches, nail in those floor boards and zipper up your driveway...lol :)
