A Double Barreled Shotgun
Well, it's about that time again for me to enlighten ..lol...all two of you !!! lol...
As you can tell by reading this blog apparently visitors ( a reasonable amount) don't know how to or don't want to respond. So...for the summer months and if not longer, I will only be posting probably once a month at best. Since I don't have responses, I have to assume my topic of discussion or my thoughts on this or that matter... doesn't matter...and life goes on and on and on !!!! LOL :) But yet, many have informed me via emails and by way of 'what nots' that when I don't post often......they miss it..... Oh ya....sounds like a double edge sword to me...damned if I do ...and damed if I don't. Now don't get me wrong guys and gals...I do appreciate those that have posted comments. It's interesting to 'share' thoughts and ideas on a myrid of subjects. After all, isn't that what 'blogging' is all about ??
Boy does that sound typical of web paging as well. Those that read your 'creativity' without 'acknowledging' that they either enjoyed it or disliked it,but complained when it stops or it isn't to ones likable frequency of creating new. And there were those that always seemed to find a way to let you know their thoughts. Again, I just can't find that happy medium or maybe I just shouldn't care to try to achieve that end results...huh ??? lol.
I do recall many years even decades back when the 'internet' world would 'surf' web pages and took the time to email its creator. For better or worse, the authors got to know whether one should continue their efforts, alter their direction of creativity, or just let it dissolve into 'nothingness'...lol....hmmmm..is that a real word??.....Oh well..it is now... :)
Anyhow, it just seems to me that those 'golden days' of old and how 'surfers' and 'visitors' had a better sense of 'common courtesy' back then than those of today ! ...Just one man's opinion, of course ! :)
Since this is the 4th and I just 'blew off' my bag of 'fireworks' in chastising you ...lol.....time for me to blow out the fuse.

Just my humble opinion, but....you usually should blog because you want to, not because you're looking for a response. I guess it depends on whether you're blogging for yourself - or for your audience. I blog for me - if no one reads it, oh well. They miss out I suppose.
But - I have to say - it is fun to have people comment and join in and share thoughts and ideas. I would tend to think if you're looking for responses, you should update more frequently. Even I stop visiting because it seems like you never post.
Readership takes time, and it ebbs and flows. Plus, it's summertime. It seems that everyone (including myself) slows down because there's so much more to be doing outside. :) Don't give up - keep posting, and people will comment. :)

Now this is what I told you the last time I talked to you.. and I think I said that if you expect people to write and answer your blog to put something on that others can relate to, not things that you have done, where you leave it up to the reader to except or not..
For sure I know I said your real talent is in writing the stories that you have written for so many years.. You and your wife, were such a great team together. I personally only read your blog, because I keep thinking your going to tell us that you are going back to writing.....
Your way past your time on adding a new story......
