If Teeth Were ........

Howdy...:)

Well, If teeth were brains, I'd have none ! Lol :)
Actually, I do have more brains than teeth....and lucky for that, I suppose ! I finally found another dentist that takes the new dental plan that I am on and today was D- Day ! I had a pretty good toothache this past weekend so a frantic call was made around town to locate this place. I really just seem tired of all the pain my teeth have been causing me these past few years. Course I wasn't helping any by consuming Pepsi or Coke by the gallons.
Word has it they both cause massive tooth problems one way or the other, but can I help it if I am a 'cola junkie'....lol ! Well, I am, proud to say, but sorry for the end results. Can you just imagine if it destroys the strongest part of our bodies, the tooth, what is it doing on the inside.....hmmmm :(

My mouth has deteriorated significantly in the past 5 yrs. that it is hard to believe that from where I am today with a mouthful of half shattered teeth to where I was a few years ago when I had really no problems except for the occasional and fairly normal cavity that such a small thing such as 'cola' would be a 'monster' in your mouth wreaking havoc which for the most part is unrepairable. So it looks like today was the day I start back on a quest to 'beautify' my mouth with 'plastic' ! Some commercial ....huh !!! I don't think either Coke or Pepsi would like me for a spokesperson nor a poster child.

So today, this morning I met my new dentist and mouth healer ! Really, a nice guy and what a great going business. Just the fact that his office is so busy must say something in how he treats his patients and the kind of service that is given. Not only that, he's a full featured dentist with a complete denture lab...wow ! I really got to think this is a good move away from my 'space invader last dentist'...lol...I mean , my last dentist handled me as if I had some sort of contagious desease and would work on me with rubber gloves, space mask and helmet with earcups on and to top it off his mask was often doubled up. Talk about paranoia...lol
At least this dentist performed like a dentist not as some out of space junkie!

So today I now own two less teeth than what I had yesterday and I might say " I'm proud of it" ! Pain, Pain go away, go visit some one else this day!

Soon, I hope to be sporting a whole new smile and a bunch of teeth that looks at good as mine once did ! Horray!
So, America....keep smiling, keep drinking cola and thanks for supporting your dentist !
Smugs,
Always,
Steve

I think I've got a cavity for the first time and I'm dreading finding out..... somethings just dont change as you get older - and that includes being afraid of the dentist.
